Your role

As an SAP Commerce Cloud Developer at Elision, you will help our clients elevate their digital commerce strategy. You’ll be responsible for implementing, customizing, and enhancing SAP Commerce Cloud solutions in collaboration with multidisciplinary scrum teams. Working on both greenfield and enhancement projects, you will contribute to delivering scalable, maintainable, and high-performing B2B and B2C commerce applications.

With your strong back-end development skills, you will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and continuously optimize the customer experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and customize SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) solutions, working across the full development lifecycle
  • Develop back-end features and integrations, picking up user stories from sprint to sprint
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, front-end developers, testers, and project managers within the scrum team
  • Support customers with the design, development, and improvement of their e-commerce environments
  • Follow best practices in code quality, design reviews, testing, and maintainability
  • Continuously optimize the customer journey by implementing improvements in line with business priorities
  • Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to clients and colleagues

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in systems integration and back-end development
  • Strong proficiency with Java / J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC
  • Experience with SOAP, REST, and other web services technologies
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience implementing SAP Commerce Cloud solutions
  • Solid understanding of frameworks and technologies such as Struts, Hibernate, SQL, MySQL, Tomcat, and Apache
  • Familiarity with agile development processes
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical mindset and proactive attitude towards problem solving
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and take initiative

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud deployments and containerized environments
  • Understanding of modern DevOps practices
  • Experience with performance tuning of large-scale e-commerce platforms
  • Knowledge of SAP integrations, e.g., SAP ERP or SAP Customer Data Cloud
  • Exposure to B2B commerce processes and requirements
