The Job

As a Business Development Manager, we’d expect the following:

  • You actively identify and approach new strategic prospects to proactively present and sell our solutions.
  • You enjoy making new customer contacts and expanding your network.
  • You will mainly talk to prospects to identify and clarify strategic needs.
  • You detect needs with potential customers and enter into a conversation to map out the needs.
  • You follow up on the detected opportunities and in cooperation with the presales architects you work out concrete offers.
  • For the further development of your projects, you can count on the support of technical experts whom you know how to enthuse and motivate.
  • You are an initiator who, with a pronounced drive and professional approach, is able to meet the needs of customers at all times.

Your Profile

  • For this position, Elision is looking for a strong networker with solid sales experience in various sectors. Having an existing network in our area is a great advantage.
  • You are an experienced sales (hunter) who opens doors and generates new leads.
  • You have a good functional knowledge of application development and innovation.
  • You can empathize perfectly with the needs of the customer and together with them you look for creative solutions.
  • You want to offer real added value to your customers, you work result-oriented and always with attention to quality.
  • You present fluently, are communicatively strong and convincing. This in Dutch, English and French.
  • Networking and winning new clients and contracts gives you energy.
  • You like to make new contacts at C-level.
  • Experience with enterprise software (SAP) is a plus.
  • You have a proven track-record of successful deals and you know the market, the trends, the competitors and you know where the opportunities are. You are strong in communication and in negotiating complex cases.
