Your role

We’re looking for an Emarsys Implementation Consultant to help our clients unlock the full potential of the Emarsys platform. In this role, you'll be responsible for configuring, integrating, and customizing the Emarsys solution—working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver seamless, scalable, and impactful implementations. You’ll bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities, with a strong focus on APIs, integrations, and data flows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Implementation: Lead and support end-to-end Emarsys implementations for the client, including onboarding, technical setup, supporting the Marketeer and feature configuration.
  • API Integration: Utilize Emarsys’s APIs to enable custom integration, synchronize data, and connect to external systems (e.g., SAP CDC, SAP Commerce Cloud, mobile apps, CRMs, and CDPs).
  • Provide technical feedback on Use cases: Connect with the Stakeholders to provide technical solutions to the use cases of the Stakeholders.
  • Customer Journey Enablement: Support the Marketing team with analytical knowledge on how to setup Emarsys campaigns and provide guidance where needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, solution architects, developers, and client-side teams to define technical requirements and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Documentation & Handover: Create clear technical documentation, train client teams, and ensure a smooth transition from implementation to operation.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Emarsys, specifically in a consulting or implementation role.
  • Strong understanding of Emarsys APIs and integration capabilities.
  • experience integrating with SAP systems such as SAP Customer Data Cloud (CDC), SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP CDP or other external systems such as mobile applications and Commerce solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of implementation of Emarsys
  • Knowhow on running discovery workshops for Emarsys
  • Experience integrating Emarsys with external databases.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, both technical and non-technical.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Postman or different ways to test the connections.
  • Familiarity with architectures, creating architectural & technical diagrams for integrations.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) in the context of customer data and marketing automation.
  • Experience with Marketing use cases, to guide the marketeers in possible new use case definitions.
  • Comfortably working with SQL & ESL to create segments and personalization tokens
