A better online purchase environment for all customers
SAP Commerce Cloud grows the online customer base by providing a modern e-commerce experience that can compete with the known online marketplaces. A new credit card webshop guides all customers throughout the whole experience: knowing that they have genuine parts that are compatible with their machines and can securely pay with their desired online payment method. SAP Commerce Cloud, in combination with the portal, would be the one-stop shop for a purchase, an order, and any other relevant information.
Rapid time to market
One of the main goals was to go live as soon as possible with an MVP.
By using Spartacus as a starting point, we could use a lot of out-of-the-box functionalities that helped us to get started fast. And by making high-fidelity mock-ups early in the requirement gathering phase, the stakeholders could give relevant feedback. Combined with an agile approach… we went live with the MVP in the UK in less than 6 months.
The project received a lot of attention from Atlas Copco. Especially the short implementation time was an eyecatcher within Atlas Copco because of the size & complexity of the company.
